No. There is no live data, no signals and no execution. A chart here is one you draw, generate, or import from your own CSV. CandleDraw is for explaining a chart rather than watching one.

Yes, for any market that prints Japanese candlesticks. A candle is four numbers (open, high, low and close), so forex pairs, stocks, indices, futures and crypto all draw the same way here, and a CSV exported from any of them imports the same way. Forex charts are the worked example throughout the site because foreign exchange is what the candle shapes were measured from, not because anything is limited to it. CandleDraw supplies the canvas, never the prices.

Yes. Import a CSV with Open, High, Low and Close columns, and times and volumes are kept where the file carries them. Most trading terminals export one, and free historical archives publish them for a long list of instruments.

Volume. Where a chart carries no imported volume, the volume-derived tools estimate it from candle shape, ask before drawing, and say so on the chart. Nothing is presented as traded data. Everything else is the chart you drew.

Yes. Free candlestick drawing, with no time limit and no card: make an account and the canvas opens on the Free plan, which does not expire. Pro and Educator add the rest of the tool set and the teaching features. A student never needs a paid plan to join a cohort or hand work in.

You are notified, and the canvas stops taking new candles. Everything already drawn stays exactly as it is, and stays editable: you can move it, restyle it and delete from it.

Nothing is deleted, but Free changes what you can open. Saved projects are part of the paid plans: they stay stored and come back when you upgrade again, but they cannot be opened on Free. The chart already on your canvas stays. If it is larger than the Free limits it opens locked rather than editable: you can read it and export it, but the only change it accepts is removing things. Delete enough to fit within the Free limits and the full editor comes back.

No. Students work on Free, and joining a cohort costs them nothing: the teaching plan is the educator’s. A student who wants the paid tools for their own charts (their own setups, notes and journal) can upgrade to Pro, but that is their choice, not a condition of joining.

Yes, at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. If you change your mind within 14 days of subscribing, we refund you in full. On an annual plan that has already renewed, you can leave without waiting for the next renewal: it ends within a month and we refund the unused part.
