Draw a price path and turn it into candles

Draw a zig-zag with the Brush, turn it into candles with Convert to Candles, then set how many candles each leg becomes and how much they wander. (0:24)

Pick the Brush on the tool rail.
Draw the price path you have in mind.
Click Convert to Candles.
Set how many candles each leg becomes.
Set how much the candles wander inside each leg.

Generate a chart and view it at other timeframes

Make a whole chart with Generate chart, then switch the timeframe strip to see the same candles at H4 and D1, and return to the layer's own timeframe. (0:27)

Open Generate chart on the tool rail.
Set the number of candles and the trend.
Click Generate.
Pick a timeframe on the timeframe strip.
Pick the layer's own timeframe to return.

Draw candles one at a time

Draw candles by hand with Draw candle. One drag sets the body, and going past it sets the high and the low. (0:32)

Pick Draw candle on the tool rail.
Press and drag up to draw a rising candle.
Drag past the body to set the high and the low.
Keep drawing: each candle opens at the last close.

Add studies to a chart

Add RSI, which opens in a pane under the chart, and a moving average, which draws over the candles, then make the pane taller. (0:26)

Open Studies on the tool rail.
Type a name to filter the list.
Click a row to add the study.
Add a moving average the same way.
Drag the strip above a pane to resize it.

Replay a chart in the Candle Player

Open the Candle Player, set where the replay starts, and watch the candles form one by one, faster once the speed goes up. (0:32)

Open Candle Player from the profile menu.
Set a start point on the chart.
Press play to watch the candles form.
Change the speed.
